Please participate in the Poll! (Note: Now closed)

[NOTE: the poll - now closed - has been removed .] I'm hoping that my readers who aren't members of Blogger and can't post comments can still vote in a poll. Those of you who can post a comment, feel free to tell me what you've done so far to prepare for Christmas. In 10 months we'll be pulling out our decorations and supplies and gearing up for a wonderful holiday season!

  1. I have plenty of wrapping paper and bows, but I haven't used ribbon in years, so I bought a supply of ribbons to dress up the gifts. I bought Christmas cards at clearance prices and even bought a box for my daughter to give out after she asked if she could send cards too. My last purchase wasn't planned, but I ended up buying a Walmart display tree at 75% off the original price. The artificial tree that my children's ornaments go on (Mom and I gifted the kids with lots of personalized and otherwise special ornaments over the years) is around six years old. It's missing a limb or two and has a number of large gaps in it. I'd been thinking of replacing it, and when I saw that display tree, I knew I'd found the perfect replacement!

  3. Donna, LOL! Don't tell anybody, but one tree is still up beside the basement fireplace. I've seen 75% off Christmas clearance at Big Lots, so there's still a chance you can snag some bargains!

  4. Brenda,
A couple weeks ago I just put everything away and I've been snowed in so I haven't had time to do anything on your list! Although I did take a cute picture of the kids in the snow that I thought about useing as a Christmas picture next year.

  5. I should have included a vote for "nothing yet," but it slipped my mind.
