Secrets for Enjoying Your Best Christmas? Is it really possible to enjoy Christmas?

Yes. Really! I started this blog because I was fed up with being rushed through my favorite holiday. I disliked arriving at New Year’s Day every year without having made and enjoyed some of my favorite Christmas goodies, without having guests come to my decorated house, without having watched Christmas specials with my family and enjoying mugs of hot cocoa because I had work projects demanding my attention, and without attending some of my favorite Christmas activities like live nativity events and Christmas light displays.

Enough of the staying up till 2 or 3am Christmas mornings doing the gift wrap thing and cramming gifts into old holidays bags because it’s late, I’m exhausted, and I don’t care anymore!

Enough serving Christmas breakfast for lunch because I overslept (due to that late night gift-wrapping nightmare) and having Christmas dinner at 4pm!

Enough putting away my Advent wreath after forgetting to light the candles in the hustle and bustle of the season, telling myself I’ll get it right next time.

I want to not only enjoy the holiday but make memories as well. I want to wallow in Christmas and truly revel in the lights, music, beauty, and festivity and dwell on the miracle of a Savior born in a manger!

Christmas preparations require advance planning and better time management. With my Covert Christmas system of advance planning and Secrets to Enjoying Your Best Christmas, I’m less likely to procrastinate. I’m mindful of things I can do to prepare in advance, whether it’s stocking up on gifts, cards, gift wrap, and paper products, or crafting, menu planning, party planning, and more. It doesn’t take that much time when it’s spread over a year. That frees up my time in December to enjoy the sights, sounds, aromas, and flavors of the season and spend time with loved ones.

Wouldn’t you rather spend the holiday season focusing on what you enjoy most rather than on a long to-do list that stresses you out? Join me in preparing for the Christmas celebration of your dreams. Check out the details at Mastermind.com for Secrets to Your Best Christmas!

  1. Hi there,
My name is Toi Thomas and I'm a self-published author and brand new to the world of blogging. I can't get over the fact that this blog is all about planning for Christmas; it's great. I do not have a big following yet. I am launching my blog this weekend and expect a few of my facebook fans to follow. Anyway, the thing is, I want to interview you. My blog will promot my book a little, but mostly, I want to focus on interviewing people. Hopefully you can connent with me from this post if you are interested. I hope you will consider it.

  2. How remiss of me not to come back here and post the link to the interview by Toi (above)! So, I'm almost two years late, but you can find it here: ecsuniverse.blogspot.com/2012/10/interview-02.html

    Enjoy!

    1. You have to do a lot of promotion to get the word out before you develop a following. That's not something I've done well...

  4. Hello,
Patrick Sauer here, a freelance writer in Brooklyn. (Proof! patricksauer.contently.com)

This is totally random but I am working on a story about the best at-home karaoke machines and I saw an Amazon review you left for the Karaoke USA w/dual mics. I liked the review you left and I'd love to get your thoughts on it if you have a few minutes this week over the phone or I can email you. I am at patrickjsauer@mac.com or 917-816-5847

    Thanks!

    1. I sent an email Sept 1 but never heard back, probably because I neglected to respond sooner.
